little timmy's christmas list, 2007 edition

OK: this is posted primarily for my family, since we exchange gift idea lists every season. However, anyone reading this is, of course, more than welcome to give me any and all of the items listed here.

1. Not 'spensive, but priceless:

Peace on Earth, goodwill to men.
The return of friendship.
Something you made.
A card.
Time with you.

2. Less 'spensive:

Work/dress shirts ... Banana Republic, for example ... size L or 15-1/2 x 34/35.
Bizarre and/or ugly cufflinks.
Sweaters ... think modern, like a half-zip wool thing, rather than something like this.
A man jewelry box dresser valet,
something like this one.
A ceramic knife, like this one, or this one.
A cast iron skillet, 10" or 12" diameter.
A wet/dry rechargeable electric shaver, preferably a Braun ... maybe like this one.
Good quality casual or dress socks.
A pair of Chucks ... dark red or dark green, slip-on or laced, low-top, size 10-1/2.
DVDs:
Bourne Ultimatum; Night Watch; Day Watch; "Vengeance Trilogy" (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, Lady Vengeance); Blade Runner (4-disc "final cut" version);
Kids in the Hall, Season 3, 4, or 5;
Quirky T-shirts, size L.
A pearl snap cowboy shirt, size L.
A Capresso 560 Infinity burr grinder.
Pretty much anything incorporating
or otherwise relating to, ninjas, robots, monkeys,
retro video games, new wave, and 80s pop culture.

3. More 'spensive:

A jawbone Bluetooth headset.
A POLAR heart rate transmitter and monitor.
A nüvi 260 GPS navigator.
A digital SLR.

4. Shyeah right:

A cruise for my 40th birthday.
Hot tub!
A Toyota Tacoma, white, red, or silver.
Peace on Earth, goodwill to men.

I'm piiiiinching your head!

Ahh, thanks to your list I've been reading these instead of working. :)

I don't think a cruise for your 40th is that far-fetched!

Did you watch the series? One of the funniest shows ever.

You mention all your shirt sizes but not your shoe sizes. (Not that you're getting shoes from me, that would be boring.)

That wild sweater on the other hand...whooo HOOOO.

Oh good catch - I edited, thanks!

That sweater is a little crazy, but I could definitely do anything else in the Coogi family.

Heh... I like how "Peace on Earth" bookends the list. Appropriate, insightful, and sad-but-true.

Losing faith in your friendslist....

Aw c'mon - no one noticed that you wanted a VIOLA???

*spelling corrections for "voila" brought to you by the letter Q, the spatula, and other random things*

Re: Losing faith in your friendslist....

Haha, "viola" for "voila" is a longstanding joke from emakelle and ghotighued. Thank you for catching it, though. :)
