didn't watch the debate last night ...

... but from what I hear, this sums it up:

Indeed it does. McCain was on the attack and a bit crazed, a spouting sputtering mess compared to Obama's calm and quiet. They didn't really say anything they hadn't said before, so it wasn't a riveting debate, but it was fun to watch.

I missed a part of the debate. McCain seriously made that face? Or did I just get rickrolled by an amazing photoshop job?

I'm wondering the same exact thing! I was listening to the beginning of the debate on NPR so I missed whatever led to this awesome photo (unless we've both been duped by someone with PhotoShop skillz).

I think its real - at the end, McCain was trying to shake the moderator's hand, but he was going left instead of right, so they did one of those doubletake dances while getting around the table. That's when McCain made that face.

It was at the end of the debate. McCain was trying to walk around the table to shake hands with the moderator, and sort of feinted right, feinted left, and made that face like he was stuck behind the table.

If you did, I did too. Here's a link to where I found a version with Reuters watermarks all over it. I obtained the clean version from 4chan.

Awwwww, that makes me fond of McCain, something of a rarity for me!

I love Obama but there really is something of the "annoying smart kid in the class" about him.

yeah, I agree. But I'd rather have the annoying smart kid running the country than the alternative.

Its like when you're in school and you get assigned a group project with that kid. You know he's going to take over and do all the work and you'll get an A by association. I'm kind of okay with that.

the best sum up of the debate I read was:

"Obama looked tired, and McCain looked like a turtle."

Glad we have a system that completely exhausts our next President before they take office.
