Depends on what you need from the Wiki. Private? Public? History? Formatting? Any ideas?

There are a ton of easy to install private wikis depending on your Linux skills. What are your requirements, sirrah?

I have no Linux skills, but I probably have IT support.

What I'm looking for is a private Wiki to function as a knowledge base for the firm, including practice tips and (links to) example work documents for the professionals, administrative policy for the support staff, and so forth. Hopefully the formatting will be on the simple side so I can encourage everyone to use it.

My suggestion would be this : http://www.atlassian.com/starter/

Start with Confluence and grow into one of the larger license packs as needed. Not sure what their other pricing is, but it's both Unix and Windows friendly, has known support, etc. Lemme know if that works.
