microbloggin'

Yesterday:
  • 09:19 Oh man. Body hurtin' after that run yesterday. Legs, knees, and, surprisingly, stomach. I'm ooooooooooooold.

  • 18:59 Still feeling nauseous and/or punched in the gut. Yesteday's run? Or yesterday's Chinese food? Enquiring mind wants to know.
This morning (so far):
  • 09:03 Used to look forward to the weekend so I could spend it relaxing. Now I look forward to it for all the stuff I can get done. Progress?

Possibly looking forward to the weekend for the ability to get stuff done is a greater indicator of being old than your sore knees might be. hahahaha. Sadly, it's true in my case, too. I am tempering it with liberal doses of booze and beer, though. I'll get stuff done, sure. But I'm going to be flexing my "out on the town" muscles, too. Happy medium and whatnot. (P.s. you're not oooold.)

Tempering it with booze and beer is my plan, too! Great minds, and all that.

I get abdominal pains when I start running again as well (all the more reason to start slow and build progress slowly). I think it is from the slight twisting motion of running, giving the abs a workout they are not used to. It might be a combination of that plus your diaphragm getting exercised harder than it is used to. Hope you're feeling better today.

Yeah? Maybe that was it. I just don't remember the sensation from previous experiments with running. It's more or less faded at this point, and lasted about the same as my leg muscles aching. Thanks!
