cherries!



I've got a couple cherry trees on the south side of my house, but I'm not sure what kind they are. The Hang says rainier, but they seem a little too red.

We harvested some today:


Took us about two hours to pick this many:


Eight bags, with each bag weighing about 5 pounds.

There are plenty more on the upper branches, but my ladder is too short to reach them ...


If anyone would like to bring over a ladder, you can help yourself to as many as you can pick. Your competition right now are the neighborhood crows, which were noisily chastising us the whole time.
