I'm writing directly to you, but you as a company rather than you as a person (although it's kind of cool to think that you personally are reading this). And directly, because someone, perhaps several folks, from your location in ... uhmm, Colorado? Indiana? ... have been visiting my original blog post (and perhaps the followup post) relating my concerns and observations regarding your stance on the ownership of the reports on your site ... my logs show pretty regular visitation from your IP address since I made the original post some six weeks ago.
You're not alone ... I don't know if that post pops up after Googling a certain combination of search terms or what, but I've been getting hits on it on a near-daily basis.
Maybe you're checking back to see if anyone is still commenting about the issues I raised. Or perhaps it's my stellar wit and dazzling articulation that inspires you to return, I don't know. Maybe I'm on a list of blog links about Angie's List that you pay someone to regularly visit (which I think is a pretty smart idea). Maybe it's an automated trackback monitor triggered by my links to a couple pages on your site. Who knows. I certainly don't mind, it's actually kind of fun.
But hey, feel free to chime in. You could comment with a "hello" if you like. My modest readership, so far as I can tell, is pretty well-mannered, so you needn't be shy. Of course, if you prefer to contact me privately, my e-mail info is here.
Anyway, hope you're well, Angie. Keep up the great work. Don't be a stranger.
Cheers,
Tim
